I cannot recommend Happy Planet Petcare enough. Lily, the owner, is the kind of human being you want taking care of your dogs but are also kind of jealous because you want to hang out with her everyday. She has a strong grasp on dog training and takes the time to get to know each dog's personality and what may work for them on walks. She even came up with some cute nicknames for my dogs that fit their personalities. In talking to her about my dogs' behavior, she even gave me valuable training suggestions to implement at home.

Lily is reliable, on time, and leaves your home exactly as she found it. The only exception was if she cleaned up accidents that occurred in my home not on her watch. To me, those were my responsibility, but she went above and beyond. When Lily was walking my dogs, I was a law enforcement officer and never once worried about my weapons, valuables, gear, etc. She is extremely trustworthy and responsible. I also never worried about my dogs, despite being a slight helicopter dog mom, because I knew they were in good hands with her. The highlight for me was the daily update I got at the end of each walk, letting me know funny stories of what my dogs had done, if they had gone to the bathroom, and anything else I needed to know.

She is also compassionate and kind. When my dog Leo finally succumbed to cancer, she wanted to be there for me and for him when the vet came to my house to end his suffering. She cared for him (and for me), too. Over the course of years of Lily walking my boys, she became my friend. If you do not hire Happy Planet Petcare, it is truly your and your dog's loss.
